Children at Ashcroft will develop Design and Technology skills and attributes they can use beyond school and into adulthood. The large majority of children will achieve age related expectations in Design and Technology by the end of Key Stage 1

The children have developed the creative, technical and practical skills needed to perform everyday tasks confidently and to participate successfully in an increasingly technological world. They can also evaluate and test their ideas and products and the work of others.

Children at Ashcroft understand and apply the principles of nutrition and learn how to cook.
