Art is a key feature of our curriculum and is embedded in the topic work in Key Stage 1 through many cross-curricular activities. We follow the National curriculum for Art and develop it throughout all aspects of the curriculum. The skills and knowledge that children will develop are mapped across each year group and throughout the school to ensure progression. Children are provided with many opportunities to create alongside their learning about the current topic. We want to ensure that children develop a love of creativity through stimulating, engaging and exciting activities.
